Brenda Stuart Berry has been a dressmaker for many years. At the age of three, her mother placed her into a dance class, which led to 15 years of competition in the glamourous world of Ballroom and Latin dance, during which she created her own gowns.
After so much time in the world of swirling satins and flashing sequined fabrics, it was only natural to begin her own dressmaking business in the UK, specializing in wedding, bridesmaid and special occasion gowns. After immigrating to Canada in 2005 and the birth of her son in 2007, Brenda found the balance she needed to stay home with her family and still pursue creative expression by taking a series of courses in Cake Decorating. She soon discovered that her passion for creating beautiful custom cake designs equalled her passion for creating lovely garments, leading her to found Sew Delicious in Strathmore AB, later relocating to Carseland.
Sew Delicious serves the areas of Carseland, Strathmore, Chestermere, Langdon, and the Calgary area. Pickup and delivery service is available within Strathmore, as well as in-home appointments for fittings and consultations.
